How the Cossacks Bought Salt (1975) is an animated cartoon by the Kyivnaukfilm studio, filmed in 1975, the fourth story in the series "Cossacks". In the cartoon, the Cossacks defeated a greedy, foolish rich gentleman and helped the Chumaks bring salt to the market. The Cossacks also managed to help the local people get rid of that evil gentleman and his henchmen.
