Olmedo Template

In 2016, following demands from picketing organizations, the Argentinian legislative approved a law extending the state of social emergency that had been declared earlier. Deputy Alfredo Olmedo was the only vote against, and a clip from his speech went viral where he says "¡Paren la mano, prueben laburando!" (roughly "Enough of that, try working!"). The clip is often spliced as a retort after someone makes an excessive demand.
