Joni Ernst we are all going to die Template

May 30th, 2025, Iowa Republican Senator Joni Ernst, held a town hall & discussed the Republican "big beautiful bill" which carries severe cuts to the social budget, like Medicaid, to create funds to give the ultra-wealthy a tax cut. The CBO has reported the cuts will remove millions from their Medicaid healthcare. One attendee yelled "people will die!" to Ernst defense of the bill. Senator Ernst response was, "People are not, well, we all are going to die".
