An angel drives Adam and Eve out of Paradise with a sword, after they had eaten of the forbidden fruit. They now are ashamed of their nakedness and therefore try to cover themselves. This is the right wing panel of a triptych. On the left panel, Coxcie showed The Fall. The central panel is lost.
