The meme was created on Saturday, December 10, 2022 for the purpose of saving the Celebes crested macaque/crested black macaque/Sulawesi crested macaque (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebes_crested_macaque) from extinction due to it being "Critically Endangered" as a result of overkilling them due to them being a pest and humans clearing out their rain forest home for human needs.
