Catalan Independence Fraud Template

In October 2017, the people of Catalonia took to the polls in a referendum on their independence from Spain. The referendum was unconstitutional but the pro-independence movement went ahead and organized it anyways and claimed victory, announcing that 92% said yes (turnout at 43%) Some days later, the President of Catalunya officially proclaimed the Catalan Republic, but immediately suspended it to continue dialogue with Spain.
