Mitch McConnell - We have a candidate quality problem Template

On Thu Aug 18, 2022 at a Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce luncheon in Florence, Kentucky, Mitch McConnell was asked why, after more than a year of polling, Republicans were suddenly no longer favored to win the Senate in the upcoming Nov elections. During his response, McConnell made the following statement: “I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different. They’re statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”
