Agent Coulson finds out what "it" (a special weapon made by shield mimicking the powers of the Guardian sent to fight Thor in the end of the original Thor movie) after using the weapon on Loki while he's monologuing. Coulson dies shortly after but right after blasting Loki says, "So that's what it does."
