P-51 Mustang Template

The P-51 Mustang is considered to be one of the best fighter planes of WWII, due to its excellent performance and versatility. It saw heavy use by the United States as an escort fighter for strategic bombers, helping to secure Allied air superiority in the European Theater. It was also used by the UK, Canada, and New Zealand. With a top speed of 440 mph(710 kph) and an armament of six Browning M2 .50 machine guns, the P-51 was capable of holding its own against even the German Me-262 jet fighter.
