The running gag is that the lady celebrates her birthday with all her friends every year, but all her friends already passed away. So James, the buttler, is representing every single friends and has all the drinks for them. He always asks: Same Procedure as every year Mrs. Sophie? - She: Same Procedure as every Year, James!
