1984 chestnut tree Template

from the 1953 Westinghouse studio one adaptation of George Orwell's 1984 novel. in this scene, two inner party members are abducted by the thought police, causing a lady in the back to sing "under the spreading chestnut tree, I sold you and you sold me" which appears in other parts of the movie. (and it was also in the novel) the camera cuts to Winston Smith (played by Eddie Albert) knowing that the thought police will come after him as well. this meme fits nicely under things about 1984-like things today.
