It's an odd conclusion you take from my comment that all rich people should be poor. Rich would stay rich, but standard of living would rise, which would reduce the burden of welfare and allow money to go into education and higher wages.

How would they stay rich? I'm not defending rich people, but I don't begrudge them for the fact that they worked hard for many years to become rich.
Honestly, do you think someone with the knowledge and ability to make hundreds of millions of dollars is just going to sit around and let themselves be taxed to death? That's exactly what happens when you have a monopoly. Money just makes money through investment and tax breaks, whilst everyone else, as you say, gets taxed to death. Bernie is all about removing tax break privileges for the rich. Your confusion answered yet I doubt you'll accept those facts.

Hey Im all for lower taxes, it always helps the economy. But you completely ignored my question: If all the corrupt rich people have all their money in "offshore tax havens" (as you put it), then how is he going to tax them to use that money for his social programs?

I do not want to take one side or the other in this argument, but a monopoly is defined as, "the exclusive possession or control of the supply or trade in a commodity or service" (dictionary.com). Which does have a constant flow of money, but no monopoly exists in the modern United States (except for electricity which is ran by NIPSCO, which is heavily regulated by the government), so there is always competition.

So then how does America tax a rich person who has 95% of his wealth in say, a japanese bank?

By voting for Bernie. The global trend currently is to close these tax loopholes and Bernie has a whole heap of them ready to go. America and Americans could then keep that profit in America, which stimulates growth.

You're making the claim that Bernies tax plan is going to drastically help us; Show me factual evidence of how this will happen, why the rich wont leave America (And take their money with them), and if they do, show me factual evidence to back your claim that that would help the economy.

Your logic is flawed. They make up a major part of that statistic because they have lots of money that they are constantly investing.

Social captitalism works. Every first world country except the usa manages to take care of their working class. Me and my sister were able to get an amazing education and have a healthy childhood even though our mom had to raise us on her own on relatively low income. Our waiters don't depend on tips and the concept of a medical bill is unheard of for most people. Over here in Europe people are just baffled at how far behind America is in these issues.
