It's one of the things I do, but I don't mention it. It used to be a trend that users would use the "black square" cause it looked cool although it was a very low points icon. A number of users were using black square. But then imgflip changed the icons, black square no longer exists, and most users just stuck with whatever imgflip provided. There are a few bucking that, you can see on the 100 leaderboard, but no one is following the same pattern.
