The term senpai is very used in the Japanese martial arts,.. generally refers to senior level students who assist and mentor younger or less experienced students. Senpai are usually an assistant to the instructor. I used to train a lot,.. thats why I was curious. Its not often used by peeps who are not in Japanese MA. Cool,.. no problem

Well I meant I knew what a senpai was, I was just making one of those "notice me senpai" jokes! :p
