Tried to make a guest account on my sister's new laptop for her. Nope. Not without signing up for Outlook first.

Am I paranoid or is Microsoft trying to micro-manage our lives. For those of us who are fortunate enough to have developed social skills before the advent of Facebook et al then interconnectivity between every aspect of our lives is anathema.

Much like with Google has done with "Google+", Microsoft too views us all as lemmings and will not be satisfied until their hand is all the way up our *ss and forcing us to use their alternative social mediums. I had an outlook account once. I sent my gmail account my password to back it up and got permanently "put on hold" for "spam activity"
