Trump/Koopa

What's happening to the Republicans now is what the Democrats did to themselves in the 1980s; allowing their most mindlessly idealistic members control the nomination process. Bubba Clinton solved that by proving moderate Demos could get elected. Now the GOP is allowing their most fervent right-wing ideologues to control everything. Only this time I don't see the party getting out of it. Sorry about that, bud.

Who the hell is King Koopa?

The main antagonist of the Mario bros. Mario Bros being a series of videogames developed by Nintendo from the early-mid 80's to this day. Typically King Koopa is a large reptile monster but this lame 90's live action mario bros film depicted him as some blonde haired, suit and tie tyrannical ruler. Maybe him and trump may not look similar, but trump will pretty much be a tyrant if he's the next US president lol.

Trump may be too stupid to be a tyrant, but I'm not worried one way or the other because he won't become president. It's been a real joy watching the slow suicide of the Republican party.

I can't help but think the GOP would be flirting with suicide even if Trump WEREN'T one of the possible candidates!!! I don't see either party as having anyone with "the stuff Presidents are made of".

I'm actually republican myself but yea i'll agree they're looking like fools, and Trump is definitely setting them up for, well like you said, a suicide.
