Sometimes, I think they know that home phone is a joke, but are required to offer it anyway. I don't think I could offer someone home phone with a straight face! XD
Years ago tele conferencing was going to need the capabilities of cable in order to work. So the phone companies bought cable stock. Now its all about internet communication.
They have cable home phone here. Its useless because of cellphones.
