Yeah...hopefully the next one will be better....we know this one already made enough money to ensure the next one will be made so now we just wait. Hopefully Mark Hamill doesn't die off before then...LOL

I did enjoy the movie...mostly the special effects...but I couldn't get over the idea that it was really just a poorly made remake of Episode 4...same plot just different characters in the key spots...to me, Han Solo and The Millennium Falcon were the stars of the show.

True, true. They are actually intended to mirror the original trilogy tho, mebe just not as predictable

Take Episode 4.

Remove the interesting characters (Han, Luke, Leia) from real involvement.

Substitute 2-dimensional heroes to promote feminist and diversity agenda.

Add many plot-holes.

Add flash, pizzazz and fake emotional moments.

Remove almost all suspense and build-up from final battle sequence by poor directing and editing.

Most importantly, take away all sense of mystery and myth.

Oh, and don't forget: bad (really bad) dialogue and not-very-scary bad guys.

That was Episode 7 for me.

But don't let me discourage you from liking it if you found good things in it (obviously). People like different things. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Oh... Too bad you didn't like it. It's kind of hard for me to not enjoy a movie.

Like I recognize a poorly made movie- but still like it personally. For example, I liked the newest Fantastic Four, but still knew it was a poorly made movie.

Same story for the prequels, except they were a little more quality than the fantastic four one. Did you at least like this one better than the prequels??

I didn't enjoy it as much as The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones, but I enjoyed it more than Revenge of the Sith (or maybe about the same).

Except I kind of thought Star Wars 7 was a very well made movie. My favorite one is episode 4 though. My favorite Star Wars scene of all time is when Luke is looking at the two moons in the sunset. Such a beautiful scene. Now that I think of it, the new generation didn't have as much character to them. I remember, when I was littler, (around 6-8) I remembered preferring the prequels just because the Jedi were involved. I think it is kind of like that, where kids that age like the prequels more because they see flashy lights, and more light saber battles, and it didn't look like they were struggling as much. But I look back and realize the struggle in the original trilogy was what made the originals so much better.

George sold star wars for a billion dollars. In a way, he allowed the star wars to be "ruined" for money he probably didn't ever need.

I really can't blame him...hell, I got family members I'd sell for less...LOL
