Futurama Fry

I see alot of reposts. Even only days apart. I tried to repost a couple of my old ones from early in my meme "career" , cuz I got no ideas today, and they're stuck in submitted limbo.

I do try to look for things before I post them, even browse comments before making my own on indiviaual memes... But not everyone tags their memes or I may not search the right title.
So I figure if I repost, then someone will tell me.

I have a few on submit limbo as well.. I wish they would tell us why memes were not submitted so I know what I did wrong and not repeat it.

Or give us the option to unsubmit/resubmit after so long, just in case it slipped through the cracks..

Or if it downvoted but you wanna try again.

I left a message yesterday for mods asking about that very issue with a couple of my memes, but no response. Theres always someone there to call you on a repost, I could care a less. I seen a couple of mine reposted, and I like to use alot of my own pics, but litterally same pic and damn near verbatem. I dont care, they usually do as well as my originals.

I don't do obvious reposts unless its as a joke for a repost war or something.

But I know I've come up with memes that have been done before.

I think my submit limbo ones were 'offensive' or something I guess. At least my liberal hippie one lol, guess it was too real world or something.

They might try to catch most of them, but they don't catch them all.

Also, another thing that might complicate the debate is that people might have different definitions of what an "obvious" repost is. I once saw one guy comment that people need to wait a year before reposting a meme is okay. I think it's probably less.

This was originally a comment on someone complaining about reposts,

I was just trying to say that if the mods didn't remember the original.. then maybe the person who made it didn't remember or even see it.

I don't mind reposts as long as they aren't just copying ones from a day or two ago and a lot of them.
