The only ways I know to make meme comments with images that aren't popular templates are:

a) you've previously uploaded the image and clicked the "Allow image to be displayed in public directory" option, so that it now appears on your My Templates tab

b) you use Upload Image and upload it from your device when making the meme comment, instead of searching for it on imgflip.

Thanks man. I find it does work sometimes with templates that aren't popular , but only when I have good wifi. It's like imgflip forgets I'm commenting if my wifi is bad lol Thanks for the tips though!
