You are doing the right things bro!!
Go to popular memes, and not so popular memes as well,.. and leave positive, upbeat, or witty comments. If the comments are flaming in a debate,.. always be polite and don't get sucked in by negative attack comments.
As users see you more frequently,.. and maintaining a positive attitude, they will visit your memes more frequently.. and give you the same courtesy.
Not that your are guilty,... but I try and keep my meme statements short. If you need to explain something in more detail,.. use the title feature. Sometimes it helps to sit on a meme for a day before submitting,... and double check your spelling,.. or wording. I have
made horrendous spelling mistakes and submitted,.. only to have the focus on the grammar error rather than the the meme. ( I use my phone probably 95% of the time so auto spell screws me up sometimes.
Also,.. I never downvote memes unless it's an obvious troll. Even the negative remarks. That's my personal code. I may ignore,.. but don't DV.
Lastly,... forget points. I never look at my points,.. I avoid the leaderboard. When a user advises me I am on the board,.. I may look,... more times I do not. I only look at my points on my profile when I get a new icon. That's it. I see too many obsessed with points,.. to the point they create alts etc. and why? You can't UV yourself to the front page,... only users can do that,.. so it's a senseless creation in my opinon and distracts from having fun.
That's my advice brother,... for whatever it is worth! Keep going,.. have fun,.. & be nice! =)
