I think it's great Costco wants it's employees to get holidays off, but this just stupid.

Well as a Costco gas employee what we do there is actually activate and operate all the gas pumps and make sure everything is running smoothly , no one tampers with them and keeps you info safe and secure , assist with guests who’s membership cards don’t work (happens very often)
Then there’s the gas fill ups from tankers that Costco employees only have to operate not the driver , spills and or injuries ...without employees there the Costco gas can not function

Liabilities... Gas spill, someone gets hurt, someone smokes and explodes the station... Since there's no employees thanks to treating employees right, you can't leave station open unattended. Security there for every where not just gas... Hopefully this answers your WTF.. Lol
