I can't blame an officer for shooting a kid who's pulling a gun (that looks like a real one) on him. I would shoot too, even if it were a 12-year old. That's harsh, but it's the truth.
I agree. If someone pulls a gun on me, I'm not going to take the time to question whether it is an airsoft gun with the orange cap removed. That kind of thinking is the difference between my life and death; and I have a toddler and expecting wife to think about.

"Bad choices" indeed. You're asking for a bullet if you point a gun that looks real at people. Though it is a tragedy that Tamir Rice died, he very easily could have avoided it.
