It's a reference to the mods (modernists) and rockers who were rival cultures in the UK in the 60s. After the hack people were thanking the moderators (mods) for their good work and the idea came from there - moderators - mods - mods and rockers. In the photo the mods are on the right and the rockers on the left. Not sure if that answers your question or not but if you mean the imgflip mods they don't exist no names and no fingerprints :)
