Dammit MetalFan, you beat me to that punchline. I find it ironic the OP chooses a picture of a power plant that generates the cleanest energy man can currently produce to try to demonstrate severe pollution. Likely one of those aforementioned 'low information voters'.

Thank you for "catching" that, but it amounts to critiquing an argument based on a spelling error. I searched "air pollution" and that was the only thing showing up that looked basically like smokestacks spewing. The point remains: it is now culturally acceptable to do the equivalent of just tossing our garbage into the sky, and in the long run, that just isn't gonna fly.
