The only shepherds who wrote any part of the Bible that I can think of are David and Moses. Moses wrote Genesis, so I'll assume you're referring to him.

Peter was a fisherman. John was a tax collector. Moses was actually just under Pharaoh before he killed a slave master and had to flee Egypt. David was not a Shepherd when he wrote Psalms. He was actually the King of Israel.

You forgot an apostrophe "it's", not "its". Better try to get a masters in grammar.
