W T F ???

I mean "hype" as in "people get excited and feel the need to buy things"

I'm curious, please...Then why didn't you just say "alll excited"?

"excited" just didn't get all the expressive meaning to me, was it an error?

I wouldn't say an error...just that a better choice of word could have been made.
EXAMPLE: A band you never heard of before comes to town ft give a concert...The newspapers have tons of ads saying how great this band is...and when you go to the concert, they suck. The band was all hype (false advertising) and no substance.

Ooooh, now i get it. Didn't know you could use it that way. Thanks! Now i'm a bit wiser.
