Jack Sparrow Being Chased

I used to think of myself as a fan of Star Wars, until I saw Episode 7.

I've seen the first half of 7 and it really wasn't very good.

You've seen the best half of it.

That doesn't sound good.

How come you only saw half (if you don't mind me asking)?

One of my old friends took me and we had to leave to go to something after around an hour or so.

Well to be honest I was pretty interested for the first hour or so. It wasn't as amazing as the original trilogy, but it seemed decent enough, and not as bad as what I'd expected. For example, I thought the scene when Rey and Finn escaped Jakku was really good.

But, in the second half of the movie some plot developments happened that turned me against the whole movie. I won't say what they were in case you're still planning to see it. But for me at least, the first hour or so was the only good part of the movie. You and I might have different tastes in movies, though.
