A lert is the space added between the "a" and "lert". It was from a 1970s Mad Magazine cartoon that has been stuck in my mind. This was the first time I got to use it! But, I cannot find the original cartoon ... yet. Troll!! That's funny!!

Sadly, no....I didn't have enough dimes to buy it and my parents wouldn't pay!!! But I'd browse the mags at the store before they kicked me out! Loved these guys!!!
