They do, it is just that there is no need for terror groups to smuggle semi automatics over the ocean from the USA when there are automatic AK's all over Europe and Asia. The report that there was a US manufactured AK used was not true. The US AK that journalists were claiming came from the US and was used in France was actually used in cartel violence in Mexico. Who knows how the media got mixed up but they ran with it and never corrected the story despite a statement from the US DoJ that they were not correct.
