This is the same tired, unimaginative drivel always heard from a 'fan' when something they enjoyed in a previous state is rebooted or continued on in a way they personally do not approve of (See: The Simpsons, MST3K, Red Dwarf, Doctor Who and so on)...yet these are the same 'fans' that would whine and bitch by claiming 'they're just doing the same old thing, nothing new or different' if said property went THAT route. They have NO interest in being entertained, just interest in being NOTICED and being regarded as 'smarter than average' via complaining...
