Well from stuff that was said in the movies alone about the force is that it basically permeates the universe and there's some form of afterlife to it. It couldn't just go to sleep to awaken 30 years after the "Return of the Jedi", which obviously implied Luke would train new Jedi which he did do in the EU. lol But how did the force subside/sleep/go dormant with at least five force sensitives in the main story when ANH only had three? I mean, the name is just moronic. The Phantom Menace just looks that much cooler now. lol

lol When you think about Luke conversing with the spirit of a dead man in our world you'd have to wonder what's behind the Obi Wan image. In SW they have holograms already, what if someone just projected the images of dead people to convince Luke to train more in the force? lol Now that's deep. Like Palpatine was stalking him the whole time. lol And Palpatie already looks like the Pope. Popatine. :)
