Yeah! That's exactly right! The whole point of the meme is, he messed it up. That's why I swapped the photo in the bottom panel to make him hide his face again (instead of the normal one, where he has a big smile).

The idea I was trying to go for, was to make a new template about an adorable dog who just can't get the joke right no matter how he tries.

But maybe it didn't come across clearly enough. :(
