I didn't say all legal systems are good. I wrote the comment because I didn't understand your comparison.

Oh, I see. Well, the comparison is between the punishment of death for disobeying Islamic extremists and the punishment of eternal damnation in hell for disobeying God. The latter is clearly the harsher one, which makes every God in every religion evil if hell also exists, i.e God is a terrorist.

Two things...first, I liked the title itself...you could submit a Philosoraptor with just that! Second, I think that there are things that you shouldn't do (Ten Commandments, Seven Deadly Sins, etc.), but we're all sinners by birth. If you repent, know you did wrong, and try to atone by living right from this point on, then you'll be good. I don't really buy into the whole "heaven and hell*" thing anyhow, I think that is just a form of cosmic carrot & stick. I'm more of a "be excellent to one another" type.

*Ironic, because I'm currently listening to that song by Black Sabbath as I type this.
