People really need to realize this

You're implying that people think it will when they do. Come on...I can't believe you've never heard of the concept of showing one's empathy, sorrow, grief, etc., for those that died. Have you ever attended (or heard of anyone attending) a person's funeral to "pay your respects"? Or was it in hopes of bringing them back to life? To spell it out - attending one's funeral doesn't solve anything either; it's not intended to. Or was there supposed to actually be some form of humor in that meme?

Pretty sure no one thinks it is going to "solve" anything lol But it is a nice way to show support and interest that the people of France have suffered a loss (regardless of how it happened). The world showed us support after 9/11.
