We spent a whole term working on the book Stone Cold. I finished it the night it was given to us, and spent the next few weeks' worth of lessons re-reading the Narnia books I found in a corner :D
One year, my class read The Hunger Games, whilst I had already read every single book, and memorized entire paragraphs. I sat there listening to the recording while drawing the Mockingjay pin.
