I hate it when people pull crap off like that and get away with it. It's using disasters for profit (in terms of upvotes), and it's disgusting to me.

Knowing many users here.. i don't think that's the intention. Memes that condemn the attacks and or support France is a sign of unity and awareness. Do you think If there were no comments. . No memes, we might appear to be callous and uncaring.. as if it's no big deal? It's not like you get a discount on anything for having imgflip points.. they are worthless. It's not like users are selling souvenirs, to put $$ in their pockets.. so I don't understand your disgust.

'Disgust' was a rather harsh term. I meant more like 'annoying'. I get that people are upset about the crisis and all, but liking a post isn't going to help anyone or anything except maybe your inner peace, which isn't the reason to support a cause. But yeah, I see what you mean, I kind of screwed up my first comment, it was late, I was grumpy, etc.
