If they really believe the Earth is a disc you could fall from, have any of the members of these societies taken the trip to the edge, with the purpose of obtaining photographic proof of their claims? Or are they planning to do such a trip sometime (raising money, etc.)? It really is hard to believe that they would sincerely believe this. Are you sure it's not a prank?

I've asked them about time zones. They have some technical jargon in defense. I generally don't debate them, as it is a colossal waste of time.

Yeah, well, there are tests for that too. But the shadow test works for BOTH models. It doesn't prove anything because you have to assume in both cases the earth is either round or flat and adjust accordingly. It's not a test either side should use because it will only show that whatever way you believe, you are right.
