At least you have a good excuse to reject it. If you ARE "on the market", you have to make something up that won't hurt their feelings. It actually feels pretty good when someone gross asks you out, and you can hold up your left hand and say "sorry, I'm married/engaged." It is the best way to dodge a bullet!
