Imgflp doesn't have a forum and sometimes people miss whole conversations or meme wars... Simply because the meme has left front page already.

So here's a forum to share on.

Eh, I searched for a group to join and there wasn't one.

The only thing is that FB is less "anonymous" than imgflip. On imgflip you have your username and that's it, really (you don't have to share your name).

Yeah, but its just for fun. I figure only people who feel like it will join..

Half the people I know in real life have nick names for their fb profile name. So its probably not to big a deal.

For example, my real name is Emma, but my fb is em. And my page is private.
Let's me still interact in groups but keeps pictures and updates about my kids to friends & family only.

Plus I guess if people join they wouldn't have to say what their imgflip username is anyway.

I guess not, they cld just vote and post memes from different users as well as themselves.

Sometimes I forget that some people enjoy the safety of screennames. My SN is always my real name, missets or ninjette. And half the time they are linked together lok

But you do understand the risks, right? If people can match imgflip username to FB profile, they can copy your FB pictures of you (if you have them) and make memes with captions that mock or accuse you of things. I've seen people do that kind of thing on here before. :(

I hadn't thought too much about über trolls doing that. But if they really wanted to do that for me it wldnt be hard. But anyone cld do that to any pic at any time, only way to stop it is not to post pics.

Same problem celebs have with tabloids lol.

I've already been victim to false claims and bad reviews. I just keep being me.
But I do understand how others would have a hard time.
