I refuse to give this a lot of attention, especially because it's so bravely been posted as anonymous, BUT one thing I will say is this:
The Catholic church is a centralized single institution administered from the Vatican in Rome. Reforming it is a matter of getting the attention of that central administration.
Islam has NO central leadership at all. It used to have three caliphates administering their own variations of Islam, but they didn't survive. ISIS, at the central core of its mission, wants to be the new global caliphate of Islam, but most Muslims all around the world will not recognize the legitimacy of such a caliphate.
In other words, if you want to reform the faith of Islam, you're talking about a grassroots implementation of these reforms in every mosque in every community around the world - and many of them are trying, despite the prejudice that they get from people who refuse to believe that Islam would ever reform.
