One person didn't like it. Can I get some feedback so I can make my future memes better?

Feedback my friend. . Is that there are downvote faries out there, .. that will downvote any and every thing. If you look at the most popular memes, you will see downvotes. Don't let it discourage you or allow it to affect your motivation. The downvote is a reflection on them.. not you. Just keep going and have fun! When you get positive responses, upvote their replys and comments and they will do the same for you. Ignore the negative comments, keep putting good stuff out there! There are a lot of great peeps on this site to help you. All the best brother! ;)

Thanks, appreciate it :P. I just want to post a decent meme to get some smiles, maybe even laughs. So I will do my personal best to create memes that would lighten up people's day and or lighten up a negative situation some people might have.

However, in regards to downvotes, it encourages to me to make my memes better going toward the up side - my motivation to make better memes actually rises when I see them. I would personally rather have my memes upvoted than downvoted, but nevertheless, it is still motivation.

I truly thank you for you're feedback, though, I found it really helpful. I also like seeing comments other than mine on my memes. Gets a little lonely logging in and seeing only your own comments on your memes lol.

I agree with Invicta on this one...one important thing when you're first starting out is to comment on everything and try to be as clever as you can with your comment memes...if your comment memes are good and get alot of upvotes, people will start noticing you...then you will start seeing more comments and upvotes on your own memes...mostly cuz when people notice you, they will start going to your page and upvoting you're memes that way...for instance, you commented on my Raptor meme and I followed your link and just upvoted everything you had...but just remember this.....................

I liked your advice better actually. I went most of my tenure on IMGFLIP not knowing it was good etiquette to upvote comments. I would get lots of comments on a meme.. and say "thanks"... and being an ignorant user, would not upvote their comments. This was 100% unintentional, it was that no seasoned user explained this to me. I believe it was Socrates who actually helped me on this aspect of being a user. Now of course, I upvote anybody who comments, even if they don't agree with my meme. (Unless it's a blatant troll making hateful comments like "God s*cks" etc. Now, because of helpful and senior users like yourself.. i upvote everything I see on the good polite users. I have even gone back thru their meMes and upvoted them all.. (you included).. to include comments, even though I don't always leave a comment. Trying to atone for my sins of the past! LOL.

Believe it or not Tetsuoswrath is the one that told me about commenting and the importance of upvoting other's comments to get noticed and it's definitely the best advice I've gotten thus far...If I don't like a meme, I usually just move on...it has to be really offensive to me for me to downvote it...you've probably noticed that I never argue with anyone...I usually just don't say anything because although I may not agree with what they're saying, I do respect their right to their own opinion...I very seldom comment on religious memes or political memes except for an occasional wise crack meme but if there's a debate going on, I steer clear of all that...I just try to keep it funny and laid back and rise above the dumb shit...it seems to be working for me...I just realized I am now #4 on the top 100.

Lol, I will be honest, that's pretty easy for me. On this site almost 24/7 now lol. Thanks for the advice though lol. Helps a lot :)
