This meme is unclear. . I'm not sure what msg it is trying to convey. Atheism is not bigotry. . And they have no book..

I think the bottom caption might have been intended to mean something more along the lines of "At least they don't follow a book that says to..."

Yeah that's happened to me before, definitely. I think something will be obviously understood and it just confuses the issue.

I've submitted memes that have been featured. . Only to look at them later and wish I had slightly reworded it. .to be more clear. Not every one sees or understands what the meme creator intended. I try to sit on a meme a day before submitting. . And more often than not, make slight changes. But sometimes I think I have a great idea.. that gets featured.. but not the views I hoped for. Then again.. some memes that I think border on stupidity. . Get wildly popular.

I did, and nothing related to atheism showed up. But I just want to say, 0.2% percent of the prison population is atheistic. And if an atheist couple marries, the divorce chances are 21% and for Christians, 27%. I'm not discriminating, just saying.

Hmmm.. I found stats on Atheism, mostly related to govts that committed democide. Russia, china, etc. but, we both agree that there has been needless genocides, or deaths in wars either by extreme Godless govts, and in the name of religion too. Yeah. It's died down by now, but we still fight over stuff like this. Why does it matter? I'm secular, you're a creationist. Lives have been taken over this. Why does everyone have to get involved in feuds and wars just because of differences?

It comes down to tolerance and respect I think. People are different in cultures, ideas, religions. . Language etc. I see some hateful comments.. because of a different opinion. I don't mind listening to another idea.. opinion.. but i do respect them even if i do not agree. it's just a better life I think.. and keeps us informed. We are all a product of our individual and unique experiences.. which has some impact on how and what we believe.

I did not understand the message in this meme at 1st.. but it inspired comments and dialogue.. which is a success IMHO. ;)
