That's happened to a lot of people. I think if it has multiple downvotes and no upvotes after a certain time, they knock it back to submitted. There may be other reasons that I don't know about, though.

Do you know that for sure because that's happened to mine as well. If so how do I fix it?

And why do you need to fix it? Nobody ever gave us an ironclad guarantee that when we submit memes, they'll never be downvoted.

If you like the meme, think it's worth seeing, then maybe consider submitting it again (or a slight variation) at a different time of day. Otherwise, my advice is not to worry about it. That kind of thing isn't under our control.

Okay. Thanks for the info. Yeah I meant the whole fix the downvote thing. Like if I post a NSFW pic and someone downvotes how do I fix it to be NSFW. But if it's out of our control I'll let it be.

There's a lot of things about the site they don't spell out, and we have to guess. I have tried to make a few of my memes NSFW by putting a "nsfw" tag in after I've generated it and before I submit it, but it doesn't seem to work all the time. It may be ultimately up to the mods what memes come out NSFW or not.

If you put a word in the tags that auto-flags the meme as NSFW (I think "boobs" and "bitch" are among those auto-flag words) that might be a better way to make sure it comes out NSFW, but you may not want to have those tags.
