Is deliberately creating a health hazard a good way to let a person know you're upset at how he or she treated you?

If it works: yes. Treat people respectfully and they will act in kind. Treat people like crap and they will shit on the floor.

It's a good way for bosses to learn THAT SICK PEOPLE COMING IN TO WORK *IS* a bloody health hazard.

No. It isn't. It's a scumbag thing to do. A employee who's concerned about the workplace wouldn't do that.

You are incorrect, I bet you're middle-management. A boss that doesn't respect his employees can't expect that employ to bee "concerned about the workplace" lmao. Work is a big act for many people, they make the manager feel good and respected for 8 hours a day but behind their backs rarely respect them, particularly ones like this.

The boss created the initial health hazard, and I hope someone sick sneezes on you soon to prove this point.

No, I wasn't incorrect. You're supposed to treat others how you want to be treated. The employee was in a bad situation, but what he did in response to it was wrong.

Isn't that exactly what is happening here? He is treating others like he would like himself treated. If he would call someone else to work sick, he would like himself taught a lesson.

Treating people with vindictiveness and petty malice is not treating people how you want to be treated. If someone has wronged you, it's not acceptable to wrong them back. That's what words are for.

Also, the original meme doesn't specify whether or not there are other employees in this workplace besides the boss and the author of the meme. But if there are others besides them, this employee has not been considerate of them either, and put them at risk also for something that was not their fault.

I understand that it's very hard to be in a job situation where unrealistic demands are placed on you. That isn't right. But the action described in this meme wasn't the right thing to do.

If reasoning doesn't go through, the next level is to show in actual reality how the boss is not reasonable. The worker here like would like the same done to himself if he was as unreasonable as the boss. The food part is not right, that I agree.

You all realise that this probably never happened right? Most likely came into work, bitched about it, did his or her job and went home

Good point! I suspect a lot of these confession bear memes are fakes. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Anyone trying to argue logic or philosophy with the username Socrates is a pompous fool. You're opinion, sir, reflects this.

'An employee who's concerned about the work place'. Spot on, Socrates. Why would it be, do you think, that employees may not be concerned about the work place all that much?
