Can we all agree that for as cute and awesome as Padme was ... the fact that she fell for Anikin's BS means she HAD to have something wrong with her too. Definitely a co-dependent rescuer type. "Are you an angel"? Come on girl. lol Everything Anikin did was a red flag, big blinking "stay away" sign, I'm bad news lol

I don't know. I thought "Are you an angel?" was actually a pretty good pickup line, but I'm not the queen of a planet. :)

I don't know what Padme saw in him. Maybe people were fake around her all the time due to her position, and so the raw emotion in Anakin really appealed to her, or maybe she was attracted to danger. I really don't know! I thought the prequels were OK, but I didn't love them.

And yes - it is a little weird. Here's another (weird) one from the same campaign.

Yeah, they were ok and worth watching just because, but I wasn't thrilled with them either. I thought the best scenes of all of them were at the end when Anikin and Padme were arguing and she told him that where he was going she couldn't follow and when Obi-wan defeated. Those were probably the only honestly written scenes in all three movies combined :-D The rest seemed to be filled with subtle new age propaganda. IMO

What's subtle new-age propaganda? You mean like "the Force"?

Mmm. A little but. It's just little things here and there. The whole "You're locked in a symbiotic relationship, surely you see that." While it is true, it was spoken in a condescending tone. Much like the PCers who do not believe in borders (good thing the cells in our bodies don't see things that way lol)
The fact that Anikin is born of a virgin, supposed to restore balance, his 'midi-cholorian level were off the charts' lol ... their 'savior' of sorts.
The basis for the force and Jediism is an amalgamation of several eastern and mystical religions.
If you listen for it, most of what goes on in the movies are in direct opposition to Christianity.
But, as a story, it's pretty good.

A worldview opposed to Christianity? I guess that makes it just like every other movie to come out of Hollywood, then. :)
