Shansquatch is a fedora-wearing misanthrope who also happens to enjoy My Little Pony and always complains about being "forever alone". Sometimes, he carries fake swords and attaches fake furry tails to his pants and walks around in public pretending he is not human. He spends his days browsing 9Gag and talks about memes on his facebook page. He says "lol" out-loud. He is unemployed and lives in his mother's basement. He prides himself in his sense of humor, where his favorite "joke" involves screaming "D'OH!" in a Homer Simpson voice. He often incorporates the french word "Le" prior to nouns in order to make them funnier. For example, I went to le shopping mall and bought myself le fedora. He uses this word because he doesn't know how to be funny so he resorts to stale Reddit jokes.

It's a time consuming thing, I use it to kill time and subconsciously vent my problems irl with a good laugh, theres a study that says that trolls are 40% less likely to commit crimes which is good and all. But I also serve as imgflips counter troll force along with kanaloa, inferno and a few others to combat spam

I was good at it, I was once the infamous ice cube and isis memes, when imgflip allowed meme comments and didn't have a flagging system or a cool down for comments, the rules were if you had a meme, it would have a troll.

I don't think I'm familliar with the ice cube or isis meme. i've been an imgflip user for about a year I think.

I do like to scroll through old pages, but I haven't had time to see all of them. I don't remember those memes.

The other one I wanted to ask is if you had advice for normal users, about how to deal with trolls? What would you suggest?

With trolls that are in it for the fun of it, or are creative, I like playing along with the joke (if I can keep up with it).

With trolls that are malicious, or with spammers, then I guess my goal would be to expose them so that people see what they are (or something like that).

Are there any kind of basic do's and dont's you can give me, please? (Again, only if you want to.)

Simply ignore it, downvote if you must and if tis offensive or racist flag

see the flag option right next to the reply option? Use that to sink your victim into "wait this long" oblivion

Yeah I know about that now. I haven't had the chance to use it yet. I've never seen a comment that bad that I would do that to someone.

Yeah, for malicious trolls exposure is effective, but if it's an outright spammer downvoting is probably best
