From what I can tell it's in a broadly similar vein to Philosoraptor (except it's not a paradoxical or philosophical point), or Conspiracy Keanu (except it's not a conspiracy), or Matrix Morpheus (except it's not a paradigm shift in thinking).

It's basically a guy in a canoe musing about things.

I think it's a really interesting template but I haven't figured out how to use it, yet.
