Maybe they were thinking this is what would happen if Spiderman got in a lab accident? And then he wanted to warn all the kids. These are pretty funny.

These are hilarious, it's like adults, trying to be cool, using something "all the kids are into these days" to convey messages of responsibility while failing miserable at actually connecting with the kids and just being mocked in the end.
