It's cyclical - sometimes you have a string of luck and then go dry for some time... But always have to make good memes, bad memes will not make the front page or even the first three pages pretty much at any time.
Just kidding. Mostly the front page ones are pretty good. But every now and a painfully awful one sneaks onto the front page and you can't figure out why...
